Hi Amanda!
Firstly, thanks a lot for sharing the folding tip...this little 'tucking in' action of the triangle tip will help a lot when connecting all the pieces together!
About the order of the color, if I remember correctly, I started out with red, yellow, orange and then blue, green and finally purple. I followed the instructional video (which I have linked to in my post) and that's how I got the color order / formation. One one side you will get 3 shades interconnected (like you see red, yellow and orange in the pic). When you twist the firecracker i.e. turn the center portion out - towards you, that's when you get the other 3 colors prominent i.e. the blue, green and purple. So, for each of the images you see in my post, I have 'twisted' or 'turned' the firecracker to get the color variation.

I hope this helps! Do let me know :)

Hi Ancella!
I've been folding these for my friends at work (they're very popular), but I'm wondering how you have the orange, red and yellow showing on one side and the green, purple and blue on the other? The ones above really look amazing.

Also as a tip to everyone else, I used Marigami's video and when she joins them she inserts the triangle part of the inside module into the internal pocket of the outside module before the other two pockets slide over. If you look into a module you'll see the pocket I mean. I think this makes the structure more stable and would be easier to join.

Cheers!
