Origami Butterfly

Origami Butterfly

Origami Butterfly

This is a very pretty butterfly which is really very easy to fold. It makes a nice little gift or token for family and friends.

All you need is a square sheet of paper. It maybe colored on both sides or only on a single side. This doesn’t really matter. I have used a single colored square sheet of Origami paper to fold this model.

Based on how large you need the butterfly to be when it’s completely folded, you would need to choose an appropriate size of paper. For this particular model, I have used a 6″ square sheet of Origami Paper.

You can also use wrapping paper cut to an appropriate size or ‘foil’ paper, which you get at the stationers sometime. The kind of paper you use will give an added effect on the final model. It is advisable not to use stiff or thick paper, as this will make folding difficult.

How to fold this Origami Butterfly:
Sara Adams has uploaded a very good instructional video on YouTube.com explaining how to fold this pretty model. I hope it helps you as much as it helped me!
