A Happy New Year to you all!!
This model is by Tomoko Fuse and is comparatively very easy and quick to fold! It is an ideal for Beginners of this art and can be used as an ideal decorative piece in the home.
What you need:
4 sheets of Origami, wrapping or craft paper. These can be of any of the following:
a. A set of 4 comprising of 2 separate colors each
b. Using 2 Gold, Silver or any other Metallic color sheets with 2 other solid colored sheets (of another color)
c. Using a set of 4 sheets, all of a different color each
Tips:
1. Keep folding the “tips” of the 4 pieces till the time there is hardly any paper to fold. The end of the “tips” can then just be ‘twisted’ in the direction of the fold.
2. One can fold variations of this in the form of a square shaped spiral model as well as a interlock units of this to form a cube.
3. You can make pretty decorations for the house by choosing contrasting colors for this model.
4. Varying the size of the paper will result in a different size of the finished model.
