Here’s wishing all of my readers Season’s Greetings and Happy Holidays! Hope you all had a Merry Christmas yesterday and enjoyed the time with your loved ones.
I folded Hans-Werner Guth’s Eifel Star today which is very simple to fold and you can make use of all the remaining wrapping paper you have with you after Christmas, too.
It requires 12 sheets of paper in all – and the size of these sheets can range from 3 inches in size to 6 inches. Do remember that the diameter of the final model will be approximately the size of the sheet of paper you use.
In my version, I cut 6 inch squares from Christmas themed wrapping paper to fold the model. Hence, the finished model ended up measuring approx 6 inches in diameter.
How to fold this model:
Sara Adams has recorded a very good instructional video on this model and has also taken the trouble of diagramming it, for those of you who wish to have diagrams to refer to instead of the video. You can also check it out here:
I thought i’d also share with you a picture of our Christmas tree which we decorated at our place this year. 🙂
